Oh my gosh..I almost neglected my blog for good. AHAHA! Too MUCH work piled up last week!I had 3 tests, 1 presentation, 1 formal report and etc...

The food chemistry report I just handed in yesterday was the most challenging I have even done so far. Took me the whole afternoon and night on sunday all the way till Monday morning 3am. Slept for about 4 hours and woke up to continue till 12pm. O_O There's just so much info to cover! It's basically a nightmare. >.<

Finally, we finalised our idea for food development project!

So much has happened (yup, some unhappy stuff) but it's better that we got some idea now. My group decided to make fruit flavoured white chocolates. =) We are gonna try out avocados and bananas first. But, it took me a long time to look for a decent white chocolate recipe. The only worrying thing is whether we can make the white chocolate or not. We can't seem to find certain essential ones like the cocoa butter. (Anyone seen it before?)

The basic recipe is like
cocoa butter
lecithin
powdered dry milk
suger
butter (Not as important as the rest, but it is said to make a slightly different chocolate)

Cocoa butter and lecithin are nowhere to be found. Liang jue and I looked in NTUC, shop and save and cold storage...and my mum suggested to me carrefour. O_O Carrefour is so far and I only wore normal shirt and shorts.

Haha, wish us luck for the first trial tomorrow~
