Buddhist Society 40th Anniversary
The drama was quite a success though it was a pity that most of the audience couldn't catch what we say clearly.
Thanks to all who took their time out and supported us! Sorry that you all had to sit through a long talk at the end.
Preparation was really rushed that day. We did not rehearsh before the real thing, as planned, due to time constraint. =S And ahh! Hanni and Jia Xin caught Sharon and I doing make-up in the toilet! I really messed up my make-up that night! XD At first, I applied this Shiseido foundation and realised it was too light for me. I desperately cleaned it off and applied with another darker one. And OMG my face still looked so whitish. (I scared Jia Xin, haha) Plus, I dirtied my uniform collars with the foundation powder! O well...I returned to back-stage with the whitish face but it looked pretty normal when I looked into the backstage mirror. (weird)
I went all jumpy and nervous just minutes before stage appearance. I kept walking here and there non-stop. It was so great that Sharon and I remembered our lines during the whole drama. *phew* But I was too soft. Wilmer forgot quite a number, oops... Jian Hong was pretty good, I think. He had tons of lines and a difficult solo part. But, he didn't stumble or anything. The rest also did their best! However, there was a missed cue by a member. He was supposed to appear at the final scene and yet, he missed it. Those on stage freezed for so long, waiting and wondering, haha.
After the final scene, THE WHOLE CAST AND BACKSTAGE CREW WERE JUMPING IN JOY AND RELIEF! XD Here's some photos...

Li Bin as the emperor. This shot wasn't really well-taken. =S
Chek Beng and Ivan as soldiers. Chek Beng actually posed seriously for the photo, haha. Ivan had 4 different outfits, including this. O_O
Chun Ming as Lady from the past. (???) Well...it was a last minute decision that he had to become a lady noodle seller. He used balloons as his "assets" XD Hahaha.
Sharon as head of the maids. Haha, she looks kinda weird here. =X
Here we present the 2 main cast...Jian Hong and Wilmer. They looked so unhappy XD I love their outfits. They are so much nicer than the maid ones.
Yay! Took Wilmer's outfit! Tang Bohu for a few minutes..hahaha
Sharon joins in the fun, haha. That's the present she's supposed to give me before we "die in the script".
